I didn't need to think too much about what ring I should make my sister, the incredibly talented dress designer maker super fit food lovin mama Asha, aka TigreAsha And palm tree lovin megababe to boot!
I wanted it to be a bold design with an incredible deep blue stone, something that conjures the ocean and the magik of a palm tree lined beach. I had a beautiful Kingman Turquoise cabochon and a Bangalow Palm in mind for the palm tree. Having lived up on the north coast of NSW for a few years I loved Bangalow Palms!
I used one of my ultra wide tapered shanks, so comfortable and weighty to balance the weight and solidness of the palm tree and turquoise.
It's a gorgeous blue ocean stone and I love the boldness and beauty of this piece!
